We founded Abanico out of a deep love for real Spanish food, for food that is fresh, healthy, and authentic. We only use the best fresh ingredients here at Abanico, where possible, sourced directly from local farms and in some cases imported directly from producers in Spain. We strive to make each and every dish a wholesome expression of our love for food, life, and living. 

Abanico was born in 2021 as a local catering business during the Covid pandemic. Over the past fifteen months, our tiny business has blossomed into a thriving private party solution, bringing something different and special. We completely tailor the experience to your preferences and dietary requirements of your guests.

The word "abanico" in Spanish means "a range of" options and this is exactly what we try to deliver with our vast range of tapas with choices of meat, fish and vegetarian.

In addition to that, we provide a private chef option where everything is cooked exactly as you like directly to your table, always with a Spanish feel and exactly as you may have experienced it in some fine restaurant in Spain.
